Spare Change is founded by Silicon Valley entrepreneurs Mark Rose and Lex Bayer.
The Spare Change team brings over 20 years experience in consumer internet, financial services and payment systems with leading brands such as E*TRADE, PayPal and Bank of America. We're a bright bunch too -- Standford, Berkeley, Davis. And, like any successful .com, we're in early, up late, and always "on".
Spare Change was founded on the simple principle of making small payments safe and convenient for consumers and applications developers alike. We believe in delivering a great consumer experience, and are dedicated to helping small application developers get started fast. We place a great deal of pride in our customer service and core capabilities to run an enterprise-grade payments system with one of the lowest fraud rates in digital goods.
Spare Change is privately funded by its founders and is based in Silicon Valley, California.
